Traditional African Dress (sitting opposite me on the train)

The bright pink and green dress (and headpiece and anklets)
Captures the air around her

Speaking the beauty of culture
Through the tongue of her tribe's african tradition

Celebration of its depth, like a family tree
Back to its timeless roots

Exulted by the freedom to express
The colour of her identity.
